Darren joined Liberum in April 2021 as an Investment Banking Director.
Prior to joining Liberum, Darren was a Corporate Advisory Director in the investment funds team at Shore Capital and previously led the corporate side of the investment funds team at Investec, where he was instrumental in developing the team’s corporate client list. He has substantial transaction experience and most notably led the IPO of the Smithson Investment Trust plc, which raised £822 million at launch.
Darren has a broad background in financial services, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in their Banking and Securities group and was a senior member of the AIM Regulation team at the London Stock Exchange.
